Ayurvedic Alternative Medical Center is a Center for Alternative Medicine in UAE for the past 25 Years. In the year 1997, Dr. Abdul Gafoor in association with ITALIAN HERBAL CENTRE started his medical practice in Ajman, UAE.
ITALIAN HERBAL CENTRE was established by the Ruler of Emirate of Ajman, His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi and his brother His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi in the year 1995 for the empowerment of herbal Medicine in United Arab Emirates. Later in 1997, Dr. Abdul Gafoor P was given the responsibility of undertaking the establishment, name was later changed as Ayurvedic Alternative Medical Center in the year 2004 under the patronage of Dr. Abdul Gafoor P as a centre for alternative medicine.
Dr. Gafoor’s Ayurvedic Alternative Medical Center UAE is a sister concern of Dr. P Alikutty’s Kottakkal Ayurveda And Modern Hospital, Kottakkal, Kerala, established in the year 1965. In the year 2001, we shifted to a new location nearby for better facilities and later starting departments Homeopathy & Yoga in addition to the existing Ayurveda Department. We believe in creating a disease-free society and the trend is continuing in every action. More than two Decades into expertise in the field of alternative medicine, Dr Gafoor’s Ayurvedic Alternative Medical Center has turned into epitome of alternative medicine in United Arab Emirates. We follow an integrated alternative medical system combining Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Acupuncture and Yoga.
Dr. Abdul Gafoor Pakkada (1967-2020) hails from the land of AYURVEDA - KOTTAKKAL, born as the eldest son of Late Dr. P Alikutty and T Khyruneesa and Dr. Abdul Gafoor is the founder of Dr. Gafoor’s Ayurvedic Alternative Medical Center. Dr. Abdul Gafoor P pursued his Bachelor's Degree, Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (B.A.M.S) from Government Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram in the year 1992. Dr.Abdul Gafoor, MD (Acu) in Ayurveda, started his Medical Practice in Kottakkal along with Dr. P Alikutty (Father) in the year 1992.
Dr. Abdul Gafoor is the co-founder of Dr. P Alikutty’s Kottakkal Ayurveda and Modern Hospital. After leading his humble practice in Kottakkal, he started Ayurveda practice in the Emirates of Ajman, UAE in the year 1997 and he became one of the first Ayurvedic Doctors to be licensed to practice independently by the Ministry of Health, UAE in the year 2002. He is one of the founding members of EAGA. Dr. Abdul Gafoor and his humble and calm nature has been well known among his patients and contemporaries.
To practice the science of Ayurveda in its totality aiming at prevention, cure and rejuvenation of the whole body with respect to the authentic Ayurvedic philosophy, texts and values, thus promoting a balanced holistic way of life for prevention and treatment. We also believed that with the support of other branches of alternative medicines, a perfect balance can be obtained for a healthier way of life. Dr. Abdul Gafoor's strong beliefs in alternative medicine led to the addition of the Department of Homeopathy and Yoga. The basis lies in prevention and in strengthening the body’s own inner intelligence to maintain perfect health.
